Return to Indy!" - new location for the former Noblesville, IN Region 5 Show. Mark your calendars and make plans now to attend the 25th Annual Region 5 Antique and Collectible Fishing Tackle Show in Indianapolis, IN on March 7 & 8, 2008. The show will be held at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center just off of I-465 at Exit 16A on the west side of the city. Show hosts, Jim Buchanan and Carl Schaum, have secured a room rate of $69.00 for double or single rooms. Call 317.299.8400 by February 7, 2008 and mention "Lure Show" to receive the special rate. The hotel features an indoor heated pool, hot tub, free continental breakfast, and high-speed Internet access. Numerous tourist attractions are available nearby including the: Indianapolis Speedway, Children's Museum, and Circle Centre Mall. Show is open to all NFLCC members in good standing. Public is urged to attend but will have to pay a $5.00 Temporary Membership fee. Exhibitors enter showroom at 7:00 AM for set up, and normal entry for non-exhibitors and temporary members is 8:00 AM. This is a NFLCC sanctioned show; therefore no firearms are permitted in the show room. All items brought in by temporary members can only be sold through the auction with seller confirmation.

Hotel reservation can be made though Holiday Inn Express @ 330-334-7666. Room rates are $85 per night. Make sure you mention the NFLCC to receive this special show rate.

Registration fee and Temporary Membership fee is $5.00. Each member is allowed 1 guest (excluding family members). Temporary members are not permitted to bring in guest, only a spouse. The annual spring Cincinnati Antique Fishing Tackle Show will be held Friday April 11th , 2008 through Sunday April 13th 2008. The show runs from about Noon Friday to noon Sunday. Many exhibitors will arrive on Thursday afternoon the 10th and there will be a lot of trading that day also. Location is the same as past shows at the Super 8 Inn & suites at I-71 & RT. 741 (exit 25) which is a few miles north of I-275 and across I-71 from Kings Island Amusement Park.

This is a room to room show all 3 days, with tables available at $5 each. There will be a consignment auction Saturday evening. Always some great items to bid on.

Attendance fee for sellers is $10.00 per person. Non selling family members are free. Parking lot sales $10 per day per spot. Room rates are $59.99 per night + tax payable upon arrival and check in. Room reservations must be made with the Inn direct and their phone is 513-398-8075. If your have any problems with reservations host can not guarantee rooms. Attendees must make their own reservations. Host will assign rooms as in the past and will try to honor requests where possible. Be sure to mention the CINCINNATI TACKLE SHOW when making reservations. PUBLIC VISITING IS FREE.

This is always a large well attended meet with many local and out of state exhibitors and collectors attending. This meet is open to the public. Make plans to attend. You will have lots of fun. Lots of nice old tackle.

The 2nd Annual Rochester Fishing Tackle Show and Swap Meet will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the Ramada Hotel & Conference Center, 1517 16th Street SW, Rochester, MN. Room trading on Thursday and Friday. The show is being held at a new location this year! Hotel has three floors for convenient in-room trading and ample, flat lot parking. Hotel is located off Highway 52. Simply exit at 16th Street Southwest, take a left and go one block. Take a right onto Greenview Drive. Hotel is on the right. If flying in, hotel is approximately 80 miles southeast of the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport and 8 miles from the Rochester International Airport. Show hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Show set-up opens at 7:00 a.m. The show will be heavily advertised and is open to the public. We will hold silent auctions on the day of the show. Tables are $25 and include registration. No limit on tables. Show and tell tables are also available. Registration without a table is $5.
