The Old Reels Collectors Association 2016 National Convention
To be held at the Lodge at Buckberry Creek
961 Campbell Lead Road
June 8-11, 2016
Show Location & Information:
Our show set up will be at the Buckberry Lodge atop the Great Smoky Mountains, located next to the Smoky Mountain National Park, with breathtaking views of the Mount LeConte. The McLean family has created an Adirondack style lodge with authentic Adirondack antiques from upstate New York, reminiscent of the Great Camps of America. With a creekside pavilion and traditional lean-to that will serve as sites for some of our seminars, this rustic lodge is the perfect place to come with the family for a weekend of fun, reels and friendship.
The Lodge website is www.buckberrylodge.com
We hope to have a large display of fishing reels developed by our members. These will be on display from Wednesday through Saturday. A Silent Auction will also be held for several days. We encourage participants to bring along a display and also make a donation to the Silent Auction. On two separate nights we will be hosting “Wine and Reels” at no cost to our members. Also a banquet is planned for Friday night.
Tables & Registration:
Registration is $25.00 per member with tables for non exhibit items costing $30.00 each. Tables that are to be used for exhibiting reel displays will be free.
